Youth Competition Team

Siri Pasco Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

The Siri Pasco Youth Competition Team was established in January 2026 through a group of young athletes who wanted to challenge themselves beyond the local competition scene and pursue growth through high-level training and national competition opportunities.

Built for experienced and dedicated athletes, the program provides advanced competition training, mentorship, and opportunities to compete under some of the most difficult and prestigious rule sets in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling.

At Siri Pasco, we believe in one mindset above all else:

Be the Dream

“Be the Dream” represents the belief that success is earned through consistency, humility, discipline, and hard work. The Youth Competition Team was created to help young athletes challenge themselves, pursue excellence, and grow through adversity both on and off the mats.

Building Opportunities for Young Athletes

The program is designed for athletes seeking advanced development and higher-level competition experience. Team members are expected to maintain consistent attendance, participate in competition-focused training, and travel throughout the year to major events outside of the local and regional area.

Our athletes compete in organizations and federations including:

ADCC IBJJF Other state, regional, and national competitions
The Youth Competition Team includes additional opportunities specifically designed for advanced and competition-focused athletes, including:

Competition team training sessions Advanced sparring and situational rounds Ruleset specific wrestling and takedown integration Competition strategy and preparation Guided seminars and workshops focused on specific rule sets Mindset and performance development Guaranteed coaching support at monthly competitions

The Youth Competition Team exists to help create opportunities for young athletes to pursue goals that may otherwise feel out of reach. Through training, mentorship, travel, fundraising, and community support, athletes gain access to experiences that help them grow both as competitors and as individuals.

Since its launch, the team has already earned notable victories and recognition on both the regional and national stage. Athletes have delivered standout performances across multiple prestigious organizations, helping establish the team as a growing presence within youth competition grappling. These accomplishments include elite-level performances and opportunities such as Chloe Cooper earning an invitation to compete at the 2026 ADCC Youth Worlds – one of the sport’s most prestigious honors for youth athletes.

More Than Medals – While competition is a major part of the program, the mission extends beyond podium finishes. The Youth Competition Team focuses on helping athletes build confidence, accountability, leadership, resilience, and strong character through hard work, teamwork, and competition.

Travel, tournament registration fees, uniforms, and national-level events can create financial barriers for many families. Through fundraising efforts, sponsorships, and community support, the team works to help create greater access and opportunities for dedicated young athletes.

Train With the Best. Be the Best. Be the Dream.
